Bedrock Composition

The catchment is underlain by rocks of Říčanský pluton (see geology map). The northern part of catchemnt is underlain by Jevany type of the granite (see below). The Jevany granite is usually white coloured with dark spots of biotite but in the area of the catchment there are only really weathered rocks like on the picture below. Říčany granite is under the southern part of the catchment. The composition and petrography of the bedrock has been studied in the past but it is still updated.
