Mgr. Hakan Ucar, Ph.D.
Dr. Hakan Ucar is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Paleomagnetism. His research focuses on paleomagnetism and rock magnetism, with applications to geomagnetic, geochronological, paleoenvironmental, and paleoclimatic reconstructions. He integrates magnetic, mineralogical, and geochemical analyses of sedimentary and volcanic archives to investigate geomagnetic field behavior and the fidelity of magnetic records in natural materials.
